And I was like "WHOA!"

WHOA.  XD  That's all I can say about 'Cloverfield'.  I freaking loved that movie.  I just watched it tonight on my small TV, and it still scared the crap outta me.  It was frightening, but I enjoyed every second of it.  I greatly admire the creature designer, Neville Page.  He's my genius-of-the-year.  The designs were amazing and the CGI animation looked very realistic.

I really thought that the way the movie was filmed was creative.  In case you've been hiding under a rock since January, it is done to appear as if filmed by a home-video camera.  Kinda makes you dizzy until you get used to it.  XD

I highly recommend this film.  My mom said it was "a dumb movie", but she just doesn't know a good monster/action/horror flick when she sees one.

Normally, I would write a huge, long review with my opinions on the movie.  I won't do that, however, because it would spoil it for all the rest of you.  ;)

Live Chat

You can now chat with me and others on the site by using the cbox at left.  If I am not online at the time, simply type your message and I will see it later.  I'd love to hear from you!

YOU HAVE TO CLICK THE "REFRESH" BUTTON AT THE BOTTOM OF THE CBOX FOR NEW MESSAGES TO APPEAR.

When I am typing on the cbox, I am ALWAYS going to be "Uta" or "Ally"

Note:  If it says I am available, that means that I have my blog open and I will receive your message very quickly.  If I am away, then I am away from my computer but will get it soon.  If I am offline, then my computer is off and I'm doing other things.  Underneath, there is also a lovely corresponding picture of Alf :3

Miracle on 34th Street (I'll blog about my birthday at a later time)

Tonight was the last night of the play that I was in, 'Miracle on 34th Street'.  It was incredible.  This was definitely the best cast I've EVER worked with.  A lot of my friends were in it, and I met a lot of new people (including some REALLY cute guys XD).

{Note:  Click on the image, and open it in a new tab if possible, to see the whole thing.  Trust me, you want to see it all.}

Above (from left to right): Liz [Doris Walker], Noelle [Mrs. Sawyer], and Cameron [Fred Gailey] (SQUEEE), three of the awesome 34th Street cast.

Cameron (SUPERSQUEE) gave me a high-five backstage after we finished.  I felt special :3

O Pencil, How I Love Thee

Pencils are perhaps one of the greatest inventions ever to be created by mankind. If there was no pencil, we wouldn't have buildings, since the architects couldn't plan out the building on paper. If there were no pencils, then there would be no DaVinci (imagine where THAT would leave us). And if there was no pencil, we couldn't write music (and there'd be no Nightwish! GASP!). Pencils are awesome. I bet that when the pencil was invented, the inventor said something deep and profound. Probably something along the lines of "Ugh! Me call dis 'PENCIL'!", since the pencil has been around for quite a while.

As they say, the pencil is greater than the sword.
